Precision Seam Welder from PWRWP

 

PWRWP has developed a new seam welder, primarily for thin stainless steel welding applications.

The welder is based around a 4kHz medium frequency transformer and inverter, delivering up to 3kA of DC welding current. Motor speed control is programmed within the weld control, a WS700mS from B F Entron.

With the short pulse width from the 4kHz transformer, high quality, precise seam welds can be obtained and operators can follow complex shapes by hand.

The electrodes are fully watercooled and the welder can be simply converted to a spot welder by removing the wheels and connecting specially designed small spot welding electrodes. The ability to spot weld and fast stitch weld adds to the comprehensive facilities within this sophisticated welding system.

Initially aimed at the aircraft and motor racing heat insulation market, the welder can be used for a variety of thin metal (up to 0,15mm) applications.
