The WS2000 control is supplied as a standard for robot applications. This is a state of the art unit, offers full monitoring, either locally or remote, with alarms when possible failures occur; heat stepping to compensate for tip wear; spot and batch counting, as well as comprehensive internal diagnostic facilities. Depending on the model offered, programming can be from a central computer, from a remote pendant or via an on board programming panel.

For the majority of more complex automated operations, the WS4000 series would be used. This is a state of the art system which can be used for either AC of Medium Frequency applications, depending on configuration at time of supply. It offers up to 192 weld programmes (via Fieldbus) or 128 normal I/O, allowing each spot to be separately programmed, greatly simplifying weld fault correction

Programming and fault detection is either from a PC via WS98 software, or an on board panel and a variety of plug in boards are available for Interbus, Fieldbus, or other networking solutions

PW can also supply and support controls from other well known manufacturers if required by customer standards.
