Medium Frequency Transformers

 

The range of ISO standard welding transformers has been designed to meet the requirements of robot and manual integrated gun manufacturers worldwide. The transformers range from 32kVA to 103kVA, delivering short circuit current of up to 67kA at voltages of up to 13.5v and are available for most supply voltages.

All transformers have built in toroids, giving output of 0.15v/kA, in accordance with international standards. Two thermostats are fitted, one monitoring primary and one secondary temperature. Due to their small physical size and high output characteristics, the transformers have uses in special machine applications as well as robot and manual weld guns. The direct coupling of small transformers can reduce electricity consumption costs as well as costs of installation, due to the reduced kVA demand on the electrical system.

The transformers have been tested by independent test authorities and meet the requirements laid down by ISO/TC 44/SC6 and other applicable international standards
